1. General Information

This website is operated by OSM Sibiu, organizer of Asklepios Congress (the “Organizer”).

By accessing this website and completing a registration or purchase, the user (the “Participant”) agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Participation Categories

Participants may register under one of the following categories:

  • Specialist / Senior Medical Doctor
  • Resident Doctor
  • Student

3. Registration and User Account

Participants must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

The Organizer reserves the right to invalidate registrations containing incorrect or incomplete information.

4. Participation Fees

Participation fees are displayed on the website and may vary depending on the selected category.

Payments are processed online via the integrated payment provider.

Access to certain benefits (e.g. active participation, workshops) is conditioned upon successful payment.

5. Student Active Participation

Students may become active participants by:

  • Paying the applicable fee
  • Submitting a valid abstract

The Organizer reserves the right to review and reject abstracts that do not meet the required standards.

6. Workshops and Workshop Packages

Workshops are accessed through the purchase of workshop packages:

  • 1 workshop package
  • 2 workshops package
  • 3 workshops package

IMPORTANT:
The purchase of a workshop package does NOT guarantee participation in a specific workshop.

It only grants the right to select workshops after the official program is published, subject to availability.

Workshop allocation is based on:

  • First come, first served

7. Workshop Selection

After the workshop schedule is published:

  • Participants will be able to select workshops from their account
  • Selection is subject to available capacity

Unused workshop credits do not guarantee reserved seats.

8. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Participation fees and workshop packages are:

  • Non-refundable

Exception:

  • If the event is cancelled by the Organizer, all paid fees will be fully refunded

9. Program Changes

The Organizer reserves the right to modify:

  • The congress schedule
  • The list of workshops
  • Speakers

These changes do not entitle participants to compensation.

10. Personal Data (GDPR)

Personal data collected is used solely for:

  • Organizing the event
  • Communicating with participants

By registering, the Participant consents to the processing of personal data in accordance with applicable laws.

11. Intellectual Property

All materials presented during the congress belong to their respective authors and may not be reproduced without prior consent.

12. Liability

The Organizer is not responsible for:

  • A participant’s inability to attend due to personal reasons
  • Errors made by participants when submitting their information

13. Final Provisions

The Organizer reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.

The updated version will always be available on the website.
